Doug Collins is a former U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 9th congressional district, serving from 2013 to 2021. Born on May 16, 1966, in Gainesville, Georgia, Collins has a rich background in law and public service. He graduated from the University of North Georgia and earned his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School. Before entering politics, Collins served as a chaplain in the U.S. Air Force and practiced law.
